Description
It focuses on knowledge areas needed by Community Development workers to understand the context and purpose of Community Development and their role. The course helps them understand the broad conceptual issues outlined in the Strategic Framework for Community Development in Botswana (August 2010), and the five core business areas of Mobilising & Educating Communities, Promoting Social Justice, Strengthening Community Governance, Supporting the Economic Empowerment in Communities, and Building Development Networks.
