Early Childhood Education Centre Management
About This Course
The ever changing economic landscape poses a serious need for skilled individuals to be entrusted with the responsibility to care for children and their needs in Early Childhood Development settings. These individuals should be able to cope with challenges and be able to deal with them accordingly. Without skill and with the nature of children in it the daycare/play centers are likely to devolve into chaos. If there are first-time teachers about to start a job in a daycare/ play center, there may be some anxiety about the center management hence the need for proper guidance and support of care givers in and out of the classroom. Laid down strategies will help caregivers to focus while implementing effective plans in centers. The course aims to guide caregivers on how to start up and operate a care giving facility and make it profitable to both the owner and the community it serves. The purpose of the programme is to produce graduates with skills to:
– Manage Early Childhood Centers
– Implement Health and Nutrition Policy
– Monitor Children’s development progress
