P4,250.00

Description

This course up-skills the community development worker to facilitate the livelihoods approach in communities and hence driving the mandate of a self-reliant nation. Sustainable Livelihoods’ is a focal theme of Botswana’s approach to development. The Strategic Framework for Community Development in Botswana links community development to the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA). As an integral part of the community development strategy in Botswana, it provides an analytic framework to systematically examine the underlying processes and causes of poverty, and how a community might tackle its own concerns.
